The Exorcist 50th Anniversary (CTV News Appearance)

This year marks the 50th anniversary of The Exorcist, one of the biggest horror movies of all time. Last weekend also saw the release of the 6th Exorcist film, Exorcist: Believer.

I sat down with pal and fellow film lover Jeff Rogstad on the CTV News at Noon to talk about the history of the franchise. We go through all the films, one-by-one and talk about their contribution to film history and pop culture. I’d also note that if you’re fact checking, we said that Ellen Burstyn won her Oscar for Requeim for a Dream, but that was incorrect. It was for Scorsese’s Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore. She was nominated for Requiem but lost. (Live TV, you gotta love it!).
